I need to update to 9.1.0 to access the security patch for nextcloud, unfortunately I think something has gone wrong and cloudron has failed to release a lock.

Has anyone had this before, how can I break the deadlock?

There is only one reference to a lock in the logs

    Oct 23 14:54:20 box:apphealthmonitor app health: 5 running / 2 stopped / 0 unresponsive
    Oct 23 14:54:30 box:apphealthmonitor app health: 5 running / 2 stopped / 0 unresponsive
Oct 23 14:54:39 box:locks Attempt 1 failed. Will retry: Locked by null
    Oct 23 14:54:40 box:apphealthmonitor app health: 5 running / 2 stopped / 0 unresponsive
    Oct 23 14:54:50 box:apphealthmonitor app health: 5 running / 2 stopped / 0 unresponsive
    Oct 23 14:55:00 box:apphealthmonitor app health: 5 running / 2 stopped / 0 unresponsive

It should be updating on cron so it looks like this issue has been present for some time

@aaaaargzombies can you try sudo systemctl restart box and then try to update ? (I don't know what the issue is, 9.0 is quite old by now, we are on 10.1 now)

thankyou this cleared the lock and let me find the real problem - update failed due to system deps so I updated ubuntu and got things back on track 🙏
