We have published the first version of the Weblate package!
It was sponsored by Médias-Cité many thanks to @Benoit for making that possible 🙂

As usual, please try it out and report issues at https://forum.cloudron.io/category/106/weblate Once all rough edges are ironed out we will mark it stable.

It currently comes with optional LDAP integration.
The package repo is in GitLab at https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/weblate-app

      Excellent news 🎉

This is a pretty huge improvement in an open source project use-case. Think Gitea+NodeBB+Weblate.

Going to look at if we can automate the translations the same way we do with our brandlight.org stack. (Click on the flag in the top-right)

Try it in different languages, all server-side translation proxy, adds about 50ms to latency and builds a front-end editable translation later, so no separate GUI, and human refined with the frontend editable in any language.

Was quite a brain teaser but can apply it to any app, and likely automate a lot of what Weblate does.

I didn't even see this on the App Wish list, this is really cool. This is yet another one of those apps I could never get running on a VPS for my general use. Super work! Thanks to all involved.
