      Hi,

just wanted to check an older project that I am hosting on a surfer instance. I am using the "custom index" functionality there to serve a downloadable file when opening the domain, but today I was greeted with the file index instead (there is no index.html on that domain, only the file to be downloaded).

I am not sure which version brought the regression, and this functionality is also not critical for me at the moment, wanted to report it anyways.

I can't seem to reproduce this. The setup I tried was to upload an index.html into the / of the app, then upload a custom.html. First it serves up index.html then after setting the custom index file to custom.html it served up that.

@fbartels did you have a different use-case there or some subfolders involved?

@nebulon hm.. I just tried it again. When I opened the url this morning it did show me the index. Before opening the topic here I went into the settings of surfer, where it showed that the custom index should have been mit "kit.txt" download.

I just now tried it again, and instead of serving the directory listing it did properly show my kit.txt as the index document. Meaning I can also no longer reproduce it.

Maybe it was just an issue of settings migration?
