Hello I wanted to ask if its possible to use my bare domain for other thing, cause I want to use PhPMyAdmin for my "MySQL" and I want to write a website to use on the server itself, but if I want to open the phpmyadmin ther is only the warning

"You are seeing this page because the DNS record of MyDomain.eu is set to this server's IP but Cloudron has no app configured for this domain."

Can I somehow change that so I can use the baredomain for anything else

Thank you all for the comments what will be coming

of course, install any app and don't enter an app name, which will then use the bare domain.

you can also reconfigure an existing one the same way.

You can point parts of the domain you use for your Cloudron on another server/ip and Cloudron will not interfere with it (Cloudron won't overwrite existing DNS entries without a warning). What you cannot do however is installing applications on the same server Cloudron is already installed on, since Cloudron will overwrite any changes to your webserver configuration.

@fbartels thank you for the fast answer, and thats unfortunate, but is it possible to use a self coded website via cloudron or/and phpmyadmin on cloudron

Or can I use it when I would be having two ip address that I use cloudron on 1 ip address and the rest on the other

@MGCrafter maybe you can see how far you can get with the LAMP app there, if this is a plain html or php app?

@MGCrafter I was about to recommend the lamp app as well.

Also having a second IP won't make any difference when it comes to the recommendation to not install any software outside of the official cloudron ways.

You can also use the Surfer App on the bare domain to simply forward to whatever site you need with a bit of HTML.

Is this bare metal? One way would be a second NIC + passing it to a separate VM for other things. Effectively then you have "two computers" in one.
