    Hi all,

Statping is now available in the app store. Most of the packaging work was done by @fbartels (thanks!)

@murgero its a bit of a mixture between a status page (to communicate planned downtime and current availability) and a simple monitoring solution.

It seems statping has stopped being maintained.

However, there is good news with statping-ng which is current.

@staff Shall we replace statping with statping-ng ?

@robi Ah thanks, good to know. I guess we can switch over. I am tracking it's releases now, when a new release comes up, I will try to see if we can use this new repo.

@girish The release 6 days ago should be sufficient to start 😉

@girish In the meantime there were already several official, stable releases of statping-ng. The last one was 6 days ago (v0.90.80)
              cfr this link.

So I suppose there is no reason anymore to stay with the original statping (for which the latest version was released in december 2020) ?

@guyds no worries, I am still trying to dig into what the configuration situation is in statping-ng 🙂 https://github.com/statping/statping/issues/761

@girish I see, but I wouldn't expect any solutions from the old, abandoned ticket 🤔 Maybe you can open a new ticket at statping-ng?
