    Hi all!

I just enable the Email function for one of the domains I'm managing, to be able to use the mailing list feature. I'm using the built-in SMTP server.

I created a new mailing list (test@xyz.com) adding up some gmail addresses, one riseup and a couple of email addresses managed by Fastmail. The problem I'm having is that these Fastmail managed addresses are not receiving the emails from that mailing list but the rest of them they do.

I wonder what is the reason of this odd behavior. Is it some really weird spam filter that Fastmail uses but Google doesn't? Is there anything I can check for this?

    Thanks!

@chetbaker We have to ask fastmail how long it takes for them to whitelist it. But I found this article https://www.jakerobers.com/fastmail-domain-is-too-new-temporarily-blacklisted that says you can write to Fastmail support and get it whitelisted. Also, https://www.emaildiscussions.com/showthread.php?t=74117

@girish Thanks about that. That was the fix. Fastmail already whitelist it the domain and we are ready to go. Thanks!

@chetbaker said in Mailing Lists not really working:

        Likely, yes.

Have you already explored https://www.fastmail.help/hc/en-us/articles/360060591413-Spam-filtering ?

@chetbaker Have you checked the mail server delivery eventlog already ? There is a button on the top right of the Mail view. If you don't see the button, it's because you are not a superadmin.

@girish oh thanks about that! I haven't seen that before. And yes, now I know more:

            Delivery failure, will retry in 8192s.. Upstream error: 451 4.7.1 <DATA>: Data command rejected: xyz.org is too new, temporarily blacklisted - RLR813 - ip=<5.161.XX.XXX>, host=<my.home.com>, helo=<my.home.com>, from_domain=<xyz.org>

Does this mean that we should wait before using the mailing list? (for how long?)

            Thanks again!
