How to skip updates to the latest update?
-
After fixing the automatic update issue on my server, I want to update my apps to the latest versions. Now I am updating my crucial apps update for update manually. Is there a better way to update it to the latest update without the intermediate steps?

No since every update step is potentially important. You could "automate" the process via CLI but in the end it just takes some time until everything is up to date.

@subven Does it really matter? I don't think it is important to go through every update. Maybe I am missing something...

Apps (upstream) are mostly only tested for updates from the previous release. There's no support to be had (upstream) for updates jumping many releases. Same applies for Cloudron packages, we only have tests for rolling updates i.e from the previous package released.
You can set the auto update interval to be every hour in the Settings page. It will all update in a day or so.

Cloudron won’t skip an update and will install them per your defined schedule. I have a shut down Wordpress app but temporarily keeping it for archiving purposes and I had to update it several times to get to the latest. I know from experience that WP won’t play nice if you skip updates (especially major version ones).
