Botpress, a bot builder system

Now, I'm not sure if anyone has realised folks, but the OP was in 2019 and as you all know in an area like this one, development goes fast as lightning, and there's been a LOT of improvement with Botpress since the OP.

Like it has now been DOCKERIZED so that means a big step already done to be nearer to possibly get onto Cloudron?

On that page we are invited to use the official Docker image and make sure to follow the hosting docs for installation.

EDIT: I forgot to say the best part, they've also incorporated ChatGPT right inside the app. What? yesss... Check the main page botpress.com

@micmc This is dual-licenced, with AGPL available as the default.

Has anybody been able to run this with a local language model, yet? Self-hosting your own bots without sending telemetry to Big Data companies would surely be the best way.

I saw a mention of BotPress integrated with Chatwoot in their documentation on AgentBots at https://www.chatwoot.com/docs/product/others/agent-bots/#implementation-examples

I haven’t tried this out, so it’s not an endorsement, but I did want to highlight that in addition to its standalone capabilities, BotPress may integrate with and complement Chatwoot.

That is actually the case with TypeBot, which is already available on Cloudron and connects to Chatwoot too.

You can also connect BOTH to OpenAI and enhance your bots with AI. Powerful! That should not exclude that BotPress would be a great addition too.
