I have a 6GIG VPS with Ubuntu, Cloudron and RocketChat.
I got this today, The mongodb service ran out of memory.

Anyone know of any tweaks I can do to even the memory out on the OS, Cloudron and Rocketchat.

It is all a bit heavy on my VPS, I must admit Cloudron is heavy on memory and of course rocketchat.

One other thing I am also interested in making a discord type server, and I am sure I read it can be done with Matrix or something?

Or maybe a workaround in getting voice channels in rocketChat?

Sorry for the two questions in one thread ;))

Also, many thanks for your replies on the Firefox thread.

    Many thanks

I don't think that Cloudron is heavy on memory resource - 6Gb RAM is not much, just whatever you're the box to do may be too much.

In the first instance just give MongoDB more memory under Services.

But yeah, as @timconsidine says 6GB really isn't much, even many mobiles have more than that these days.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

According to the App Store listing, RocketChat requires at least 4Gb
Ubuntu plain OS is sluggish in 2Gb
          None left for Cloudron 😄

@sir-paradise by default, the apps and services (db) are configured to be as minimal as possible. This means that even if you have 200GB RAM server, things might run out of memory because of the default configuration. As @jdaviescoates said, go to Services -> mongodb and give it a lot more memory and it should work fine.
