How do I switch Sogo App default install from Login with email address to login using Cloudron authentication? I would prefer that users log into their dashboard and then open Sogo automatically using the app button. Is this possible?

@crazybrad I don't think so no, because users can 1) exist without any associate mailbox, and 2) can own and have access to multiple mailboxes

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@jdaviescoates Seems like the simplest use case (SSO) may be missing. In the case of multiple mailboxes, it seems like a select dropdown with each email address would be the proper UX and once selected, a Login button would finish the task. If there was only one email address connected to the account, then the dropdown would pre-select the email address and the same Login button would be sufficient. And if there were no email addresses connected to a user's account, then the current button with no select dropdown would be fine.

Right, it is as @jdaviescoates said. You can only login to an email account with SOGo. I am not sure SOGo even provides the dropdown of email address choices that you mention. If it does, please leave a link here and we can investigate.

@girish Seems that SoGo(Mailcow) does seem to support IdP login but I might not understand Mailcow vs. SoGo properly. Do you think this would work with Cloudron OIDC?

@crazybrad from a quick read, it seems they disable auth and set up an auth proxy . i.e you can only access SOGo via the mailcow dashboard . But yeah, this setup is worthwhile investigating.

@girish Thank you for exploring this. The more apps we can connect to Cloudron OIDC the better!
