This was a regression in Cloudron 7.7. Thanks for reporting @AartJansen

    Fixed in https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/box/-/commit/1afa2e87ec93881ebcd1f79d83d4477467b40770

This may also offer an improvement AIFS - https://github.com/KillianLucas/aifs for local semantic search over folders!

@Girish what do you think? And if running across the host system platform data, it could index all ones cloudron sites.

@girish I think that would be a good change.

I also think I should have gone through the Troubleshooting document sooner 😸 :

    Thanks!

If you go down this route, be sure to search via roundcube or SOGo and not rainloop because the latter does not support recursive search.

A while ago @samir shared a recipe with me to make doveadm work, let me see if that still works when I find the time.

@necrevistonnezr I noticed the first time enabling it,it has to index each mailbox which takes time depending on how big they are. I am sure if you left it as-is for a bit it would have started on it's own.

    Glad it's working now

I found that in Thundberbird, if you press Ctrl+K, it will use IMAP search.

On Android K-9, there is Settings -> Account Settings -> Search -> Enable server search.
