Let's Encrypt has shortened certificate validity
-
Hello,
during a test on my servers after changing the certificate from a paid certificate to a free Let's Encrypt.
I noticed a strange thing that the root certificate i.e. ISRG Root X1 changed the expiration date to September 30, 2024 when testing on ssllabs.com
So I started checking and actually Let's Encrypt in July shortened the validity of the certificate
https://letsencrypt.org/2023/07/10/cross-sign-expiration.html
Now I'm wondering how it will look now migrating to a newer certificate "ISRG Root X2" and when will it be implemented?

@matix131997 my understanding is that issuance from E1 requires whitelisting of your LE account - https://letsencrypt.org/certificates/ . This is why ISRG Root X2 is still limited availability.
