LAMP: Is it possible to activate the proxy_wstunnel module?

I'd like to install some applications that use websockets (this one and similar) against LAMP app.
I need the following modules enabled:
headers,proxy,proxy_httpandproxy_wstunnel. All these modules are installed, but only the first three are activated. Theproxy_wstunnelmodule is not activated.I read this thread: LAMP App - How to enable mod_expires.c?
Is there now a way to activate the preinstalled modules? -
