Remote Firefox

Hi there,
I didn't find anything like this in the App Wishlist so far. I tried it on my local Docker server and i really like the way it works. It would be handy to have this on Cloudron?
The GUI of the application (Firefox) is accessed through a modern web browser (no installation or configuration needed on the client side) or via any VNC client.

Yes, could address some use cases so good to have on App Store

Deployed on my native Docker VPS and works nicely.

@girish said in Remote Firefox:
What's the use case for this?
Testing websites in clean environment (no cache from local desktop browser)
Testing unknown links securely (isolation from desktop)
Disposable to create fresh browser instance (restart the container) -
@fbartels The linuxserver webtop is good but it's a whole desktop, whereas sometime you just want a browser. Are you suggesting https://docs.linuxserver.io/images/docker-firefox/ as better than OP's suggestion ?
I'm not able to judge "better" except that certainly linuxserver is a more known source., and maybe more certain to be maintained.

Just tried both and I think the linuxserver ressource is better for memory consumption reasons and more options to configure.

@Kubernetes yes, ability to add user/password is definitely a plus
(although didn't notice or check for it in the original repo suggested)
EDIT : original repo does support a VNC passwordIntrigued how linuxserver leverage the Kasm elements.
I have a Kasm VPS server - I am wondering if I can repurpose that server and just use linuxserver webtop(s)
