THM Pilos - Alternative to Greenlight
PILOS (Platform for Interactive Live-Online Seminars) is an easy to use frontend for BigBlueButton developed at the TH Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences (THM) Faculty of Health (FB GES). It is based on the experience of students, teachers and staff during the covid-19 pandemic, and the raised need for a modern and flexible video conferencing system for the use case of digital class rooms, group learning and other digital meetings.
This Frontend uses BigBlueButton and is not endorsed or certified by BigBlueButton Inc. BigBlueButton and the BigBlueButton Logo are trademarks of BigBlueButton Inc.

There's a nice comparison table here - https://github.com/THM-Health/PILOS/wiki/Comparison-Greenlight-and-PILOS . But this compares against v2
any comments/thoughts/notes on this compared to Greenlight? Is it worth publishing/maintaining?
From what I can tell as a BigBlueButton Admin and End User.
PILOS is way more sophisticated and offers a lot more options for end users and the administrators.
The build in LoadBalancer of PILOS also is a great addition.
There are two things that are lacking in PILOS.
The BigBlueButton room recording function and OIDC.
But OIDC will come sooner or later.
For me PILOS is a clear winner if you don't need room recordings at all.
That said, I will run a wider test range with my BBB customers and offer them PILOS as a playground to gather more feedback and also feedback about the functionality.
