Install failing with init script failed error

i have tried about a 100 times now to get cloudron installed. i am self hosting the ubuntu server. v22.04.1

and yes i have used a fresh brand new install of ubunut everytime. nothing has worked. ive tried

apt clean
apt update && apt upgrade -y

i have tried to install it doing nothing and it still fails. can someone point me in the right direction? basically if i just setup a clean version of ubuntu and try to install it it will fail. if i install a clean install of ubuntu and do some methods from other posts to try to get it to work it still fails. its irritating

What is the error? What does the log say? Without any details, no one can help you.

I guess you mean the install script fails? Can you tell us where you are installing (public or home/internal) ? As @necrevistonnezr we need the logs to help further. Install logs are in /var/log/cloudron-setup.log .

Is this on a home server? or a VPS?
