      Seems same as https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/28869 but it was closed because of lack of feedback.

        @girish could be a proxy issue where it timeouts trying to assemble a tarball? Could we increase the timeout?

          @girish would that be testable with an ssh tunnel from the container to bypass nginx?

            @mario if you think this is the case, maybe you can increase the proxy_read_timeout in the nginx config for this particular app and then restart nginx. Hopefully this gives us more insight then.

              Think there is some other error here. The tar/zip is streamed and the download should start immediately even if takes a long time to download. I have tried with multiple large repos now and even if it takes a while to download, the download starts immediately. Does this happen with all repos?

                It was a problem with one of the queues running rogue. Fixed by cleaning that queue.
