    Hi again,

I am not sure if this is a bug or a "feature" so feel free to change the post category.

    Let's say I have a Cloudron Server setup with two domains (domain1.com / domain2.com).
Apps / app tiles on this server are either app located under domain1.com uniquely or proxy-app tile of an external domain (myexternaldomain.com)

The "My App" page on the server gives the option to filter apps, per group, state, tag or domain.

At the moment, filtering per domain shows the list of domains configured on the Cloudron server regardless whether there is an app using it or not.
It also does not allow to filter for proxy app'ed "external" domains.

I believe it would make more sense to only offer to filter based on the domains (including external ones) used currently by the installed/accessible apps and hide domains which are not relevant (even if configured on the cloudron server).

I agree that this is minor. But should this be a bug, then it is still worth looking into and will avoid the confusion of end users trying to find their relevant app.

    Does this make sense?
Let me know if I am overlooking something here.

@uwcrbc said in My App domain filter with unused domains / external domain:

Right, this is how it works currently. The same is possible for All States / Groups as well. Just because there are no apps to list, the item does not get hidden. This can be confusing or not depending on user expectations.

It also does not allow to filter for proxy app'ed "external" domains.

In the common case, the proxy URL is an IP address and not a domain. In fact, the thing is a URL and not a domain (so we cannot put it in the filter).
