@robi Installing apps from the store en masse can't be common. I think rn it's flow is best for an average user, but it could be a little more mobile app store like with an "installing" progress bar while you discover other apps, and then it pops up with "installed, click to open" or something via Notifications. I could see it, but again - installing apps isn't common enough I don't think to worry about this since installing is a one-time task.
But I'm glad you brought it up because it would add a bit of polish to have a more "app store" feel to it. Still allowing app discovery while an app's installing. I think Cloudron should be able to do that one day even if it doesn't feel like a priority rn.
I took a quick look at that some time ago, but it wasn't that trivial for me at least unless I would rewrite parts of the element table management around sorting. Happy to accept any patches there of course.
Yeah I'd love to see this be configurable. I know it's usually at the package level but as we've discussed WordPress people change that often, so it'd be nice to have a way to overwrite the default admin path in Cloudron for those who customize it.
@girish There's was a lot of times I didn't want to uninstall to re-install (just re-start with some box changes), but when "restarting" them I had to wait for them to finally "Not Respond" at certain points to restart my test of it connecting apps. Obviously because I was working in box out of necessity, my specific situation was a little weird. 😅
The file manager is in its early state UI wise. I also have further ideas how to improve that, at the moment we focus on other areas like apps for a bit. But let those ideas be discussed I'm the forum and I will pick them up later.
Best to break up in individual feature requests though.
