Over the past couple of days, Cloudron's forum here hasn't been available here. I don't know why it hasn't worked with the usual link.

To solve this, I visited the main cloudron.io website and followed the link to the forum at the top there.

https://status.cloudron.io/ does say there was some downtime, investigating.

Seems, nodebb update related but otherwise looks OK in the logs atleast.

There seems to be some bug when sending email digests. This is set to once a week and happens on the weekend (thus the downtime). I will check again next week but this forum has a large amount of spam users 😕 NodeBB has no easy way to not add users unless verified. There also seems no way to send email only to verified users....

@girish maybe SSO can be used instead of email sign up and have it tied to our cloudron.io account?

Or limiting the registered role to have no privileges whatsoever until verified. Not sure if the spammers are actually verifying their emails.

I know switching forums is a daunting task but look into Flarum. They have an integrated help desk and a paid membership functionality which could be used to control sign ups.

Instead of using a direct link to the forum here, I am now going straight to the cloudron.io page and then clicking on the link to the forum at the top of the homepage.

This works for me. I am still having the same problem going direct to the forum.

@LoudLemur are you using a VPN? I noticed it causes issues for me too while on mobile mostly. Seems to work fine on desktop.
