@LoudLemur are you using a VPN? I noticed it causes issues for me too while on mobile mostly. Seems to work fine on desktop.

I believe that's the point of *chan type image boards, simple, anon, fast.

Alright, trying to strike a balance here, I moved Feature Requests up again, but I assume unless the forum supports a per-user order, this discussion is endless on personal perference 🙂

@plusone-nick It is a serious project. The name does do the project any favours in these early stages, a portmanteau between plebeian and reddit.

If you are interested in this kind of project but would like to look at something else, please take a look at Galacteek, which has been requested for Cloudron. Galacteek is based on IPFS. (https://ipfs.io )

Generally, we are able to manage posts which have spam content. Most existing users, they are quite benign. I think we are lucky so far with that we do little to no moderation (maybe only fixing some typos and moving to the right category) 🙂

In this specific case, the issue was the profile page had spam content. This is a bit more elaborate and I am not sure how @SPRADEEP even came across it. I think if we have a script to clean up profiles which are over 2 weeks old and have not posted anything and have some junk profile, we can delete them. I can't imagine it's hard to spot junk in profiles with some basic word matching.

Yes, we started dogfooding Cloudron 6 on all our serves since 3 days now. Yesterday, the update of our main Cloudron was also done. So far so good!

It also seems like they need the posts up for a short time to get credit for their work.

If the credit is not reliably received, they will move on elsewhere. Break the incentive.

Looks like this is fixed (and also the header bar in the category view, as well)
