Onlyoffice docs doesn't open anymore

We use OnlyOffice with Nextcloud and the options to create a document disappeared for some users, not for one of them (not an admin). And when we click on an onlyoffice document, it doesn't open onlyoffice anymore, it only downloads the documents.

The behavior sounds like Nextcloud does not recognize the OnlyOffice host anymore. Do you see any errors in the OnlyOffice plugin settings in Nextcloud?

Have you checked upstream with the nextcloud plugin maybe? Also can you correlate this to any nextcloud/plugin/onlyoffice update?

This could be unrelated to the issue you're experiencing, but I've had that behaviour before when for some reason these settings in nextcloudurl/settings/admin/onlyoffice got reset or something:

I Unistalled and re-installed the plugin, it is now working. Thank you @jdaviescoates and Nebulon. There was not any update on onlyoffice since 3 weeks. Maybe a NextCloud update, idk.

Glad it worked out this way. Looks like a plugin or Nextcloud hiccup, I have seen this with collabora in the past but looks like onlyoffice plugin also can end up in a bad state

I had the exact same issue - reinstalling the Nextcloud OnlyOffice plugin fixed it, too.

From time to time, the connection just goes away.

I click the 'Save' button on the Open Office connection page inside NextCloud and it works again. AFAIK, this is a common issue.
