@lukas to be fair: it's a fork of https://owncloud.com/ (which is the original software project from which nextcloud was forked) 🙂

Not quite. OpenCloud is a fork of "Owncloud infinity scale (OCIS)" which is a different code base than the old php Owncloud (which was the base for the Nextcloud fork).

Also - to repeat myself - , unlike Nextcloud, core functionalities (like e.g. full-text search) are built-in and supported; they are not apps.

I also would prefer this to nextcloud as I only use nextcloud for file sync and sharing. Is this even on the radar?

I was trying to see where this app is at (compared to cubby). I couldn't get OIDC to work but @vladimir.d will look into this.

I think cubby is actually much better. But opencloud has all the apps going for it. I have published this as unstable. Requires Cloudron 9.

                      Why? in what way? 🙂

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@jdaviescoates I am biased, of course 🙂 But AFAICT, search works really good in cubby (it even searches inside the documents), has groups, working oidc, sharing worth with groups/users/externals. But as said, a bit downer is lack of mobile apps.

I was trying to see where the documentation for OIDC is, it seems to be here. Did you already see this one?
