Verdaccio - unable to generate new OpenID app password after update
-
After the update to version 1.6.9 yesterday the app doesn't show up in the dropdown for creating OpenID app passwords anymore.
Further after resolving the secret key length problem, access with the previously "old" generated password result in a 401.

the dropdown for creating OpenID app passwords
I am not 100% sure what dropdown you mean. Could you please describe this a little more? Thanks

So after the update there was an issue with the secret key in
/app/data/config.yaml
?Your description is very vague and leaves much space for interpretation, which in return results into increased time for resolving your issue.

I think OP probably means App Passwords feature of Cloudron.
@EricScherlich App Passwords won't work for OIDC apps since the raw passwords never hit the server from the app (by protocol).
I am fixing the package to have some good post installation information. In the meantime, the docs are more up to date now. See https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/verdaccio/#cli-authentication . Will those work?

@BrutalBirdie I am sorry the description was to vague.
As @girish mentioned, I've meant the App Password.@girish thanks a lot, we've now got it to work
