    I didn't notice the restore option when I was re-installing on a new server after some hardware issues and got hte domain and login setup, but I'd rather restore the old one from backups I think.

    How can this be done?
    Delete a config and restart?

      No. You will have to wipe the server start a fresh installation process.

        ok - that's kinda a bummer but alas

        I had to reinstall linux three times to not miss the subtle restore prompt, and then get the right version for the backup... but lessons learned

          Yeah, IMHO that ought to be made much more obvious, it's too easy to miss.

          I made the same point here and here and here and here.

          @Staff this is seemingly a common time sink that lots of people hit. Evidently it far too easy to miss the subtle "Looking to restore" option.

          I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner
