When performing an e-mail search in Roundcube, I am receiving this:

    error.png

    It reads:

Server Error: UID THREAD: FTS transaction commit failed: FTS indexing failed

This only happens in a mailbox with really a lot of e-mails (almost 20k in one folder). The search works fine in a smaller mailbox. Full-text search is activated in the e-mail settings in the Cloudron dashboard.

Previous messages in the forum hint towards the fact that the indexing times out at some point, which could explain why this only happens when there are a lot of e-mails.

However, since I have otherwise lots of server resources, can't we let a job like this run for a while? Assuming that's the culprit, why limit this job in the first place? I wouldn't even mind the search to take a while if it completes at all.

Another user reported it and did some debugging - https://git.cloudron.io/platform/box/-/work_items/887 . I will get this fixed for next release (9.2.0)

@girish Would Meili search use a lot less resources than Solr?
