      On a new install on ubuntu 18.04 any app install fails.

      the hosting provider has told me that the connection is being reset by the aws server that is hosting the images.

      log is below are there any ports tha I need to open?

      would appreciate the support

        @itsupportehrc Can you check if the following command works on the server?

        docker pull cloudron/img-d45b65559ca80aa3183b07e391f7481d:5d2a8980-a192-4042-b49c-75e3d2ab1011

            @itsupportehrc

            Looks like a networking issue to me. Can you confirm networking is working properly?

              Could it be that you are behind a proxy? https://github.com/docker/for-win/issues/611 has a similar error and suggests https://stackoverflow.com/questions/23111631/cannot-download-docker-images-behind-a-proxy as a solution.

              https://github.com/moby/moby/issues/30876 has same issue. What's interesting is I assume you somehow managed to install Cloudron which also requires some outbound http access.

                  Do you have a Corporate firewall or a consumer firewall that has content filtering enabled?

                    Hi,

                    can you try to run curl -v https://registry-1.docker.io/v2/ from that server? It should return a 401 Unauthorized status code if the connection as such succeeds.

                    If this this works, can you try reinstalling the app, maybe there was a temporary issue with the connection. Otherwise is that server behind some firewall blocking connections to the docker registry?
