Not sure how it would/could integrate with the existing mail system, but I'd think that'd be a requirement/desire-able 🙂

Cloudron already supports the foo+randomthing@domain.com pattern for a foo@domain.com email address, so maybe this can be added into Cloudron itself if we add some other pattern style to map to an existing mailbox. Probably some haraka plugin I assume, but @girish would know better if that is even possible.

I stumbled upon OpenTrashMail since it is able to convert newsletter mails into subscribable RSS feeds. I would really like to separate newsletters from my mail inbox. OpenTrashMail seems to do the job. Any new considerations?

The foo+randomthing@domain.com format can be useful if you are signing up for a service like dailycatpictures.com.

You could give them the email foo+dailycatpictures@domain.com and that can help with filtering mail. Also, if their database is breached, instead of receiving weird emails addressed to foo@domain.com with all your email, they are sent to foo+dailycatpictures@domain.com and you more quickly can ascertain where the problem is.

                  in the meanwhile, there is:
