        I was able to update to 1.6.1 on a fresh installation. Where do you see this error?

            @girish I should've done a screenshot. I actually can't remember the exact details now, and the next time I tried I installed a fresh WordPress Unmanaged install it didn't happen. So hopefully it was just a temporary glitch. So I guess just mark this as solved for now?

                  OK, I pushed an unmanaged WP update that updates the plugins but this won't affect existing installs though. You have to update the plugins yourself.
