While I'm happy with Jellyfin, if I understood well, Gerbera is a fork of MediaTomb and it's a Media server ready for 2020 (we should not wait too much unless it will be desuet) 😉

@will Yeah, it's a real pain .. I think the only way is to either upload them 1 by 1 trhough the web interface, or use SFTP or something ... That's exactly why I created River ( https://git.cloudron.io/mehdi/river/ ) 🙂

I mount a smb drive from my OMV on the server via fstab

maybe it's possible to hold your media via nextcloud than share it via a common volume like yunohost do.
this I don't really know (I use jellyfin in an lxc on my proxmox).

From what I saw in the past, it's yunohost had a hard time with shared and personal data and nextcloud then they deploy natively nextcloud with access to /home (for the personal data) and a /shared drive to hold all the media and others "shared data" If I remember well, this was supposed to be a temporary solution which became a patch which over years as has been probably forgotten and now it is used by different apps to share data through different application.

@girish maybe (if it's not the case) Cloudron should have a volume to hold/share data through different application.

nice, but why not using Sonaar, Radaar and Lidaar instead of SickChill and CouchPotato ?

@JOduMonT I knew about sonarr, but not about the other ones ! And last time I checked, it was really early and sonarr wasn't mature yet. Now, it looks really good, I will definitely take a look at these ! Thanks.
