I'm trying to understand How I could use my self-hosted bitwarden with a mobile app and with browser extension, anyone tried that already ?

I personally use that everyday, just install the app/extension and configure the endpoint to point to your bitwarden instance.

@rmdes yes, it works on iOS. Gotta dig in the settings or https://lmgtfy.app/#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=bitwarden mobile setup

I have tried the Brave and Firefox extensions but I don't see an option to link it to my self-hosted Vaultwarden app or option to change an endpoint.

@chrisbol That has stumped me before. But there is a settings gear icon on the top left.

Also just adding the official help article here.

ps: I also use bitwarden every day, and here is one of my favorite projects to use with bitwarden on a linux client.

@rmdes my premium finally is over at Bitwarden, so I have finally moved to Vaultwarden, both on desktop (firefox) and mobile (bitwarden client) and it just works perfectly, next step : yubikey
