    Dear all,

In next days I've to change Cloudron server to a new one.

How I can delete data of the old one, before ISP take back the bare metal server?

    Thank's a lot!

@fbartels Thank's a lot! Eg. using DD? With DD I've to format before?

@p44 yes, i imagine there will be how-to's to this, so just ask the search engine of your choice.

No you would not need to create a filesystem for it as dd is writing direct to the partition.

@fbartels Thank's for this! I'll do a search about DD.

Depending on the provider, they already zero things out. For example, DO does this. Of course, you have to trust your provider.
