      Hi,
i create a new topic with my feature request.

For now it is possible to add a central email disclaimer for each domain.
In my opinion it will be a great feature to have the opportunity for a central disclaimer management for each emailaddress.
This feature is only available with an exchange server but not with an SMTP server (But exchange is way expensive or not always required for small companies).

Otherwise, what do you think about variables for domain based disclaimer? If you add an emailaddress you can fill fields like "firstname" "lastname" "phone" "address" "company" and so on. Then you can use these variables for the disclaimer.

I like the idea. Does anyone know if any of the mail clients support templating in their signature? (just looking for inspiration here).

@girish Apple Mail supports HTML and Outlook also.

But I think @paenzy means to have a server level individual signature making use of user variables.

I really really like that idea as now in my organizations it’s a bit a mess because users need to create signatures themselves.

@imc67 I was hoping to copy client send signature format to server side 🙂 But do any servers/products support server side templated signatures?

I just did a DDG search for server side templated email signatures

              The top result was this:
              https://www.mail-signatures.com/articles/how-to-set-up-server-side-email-signatures-on-exchange-2019/

Seems to describe how to set something like that using Exchange.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

Yes, i mean an automatically adding signature on server level.
For now, if you want a company disclaimer with individual legal informations (I'm from Germany, legal informations are required), then you must add this on each device for each address. And if you must change a few data like phone or maybe fixing design issues, you need access to this device again and change this manually.
With this feature you don't need an exchange or something other expensive software and can managing all this easily in cloudron.

@paenzy I read somewhere that adding terms and disclaimers to emails made then "contractual", so in some cases and places it is better not to have them.

I'm always interested in what's supposed to be law and what becomes hearsay law because lots of people do it and tell each other it should be done.

I don't have experience either way but tend not to use email signatures from both habit and to be personable.

We're not here for a long time - but we are here for a good time :)
