My backup failed with this error.

      name: 'BoxError',
      reason: 'External Error',
      details: {},
message: 'EHOSTDOWN: host is down, mkdir'

      What does it mean?

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@jdaviescoates Looks like this might be coming from the CIFS mount for backups. Can you check if it's still mounted and working on the server?

@girish said in Backup failed: EHOSTDOWN: host is down, mkdir:

          It seems to be.

As in, I can cd into it fine.

BTW, I noticed that in my Backups setting on Cloudron I've got:

          Provider: filesystem

I wonder if perhaps I should be using Provider: CIFS Mount instead? (it is indeed a CIFS mount)

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

@jdaviescoates you should probably use the cifs provider, since then at least the error message would be more obvious when not mounted
