How to increase the swap size?
-
I just finished upgrading from Ubuntu 18.04 to 20.04 and it went flawlessly (as far as I can tell) and that's a real shocker (gonna push my luck here) so how do you increase the swap size?
Current Server Specs: v6.3.5 (Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS) DigitalOcean with 4GB RAM and 1GB Swap.

@humptydumpty since this question is in
Off-topic
and just a general linux question allow me to just RTFM! youhttps://wiki.archlinux.org/title/swap#Swap_file
I linked to the
Swap_file
directly since I expect a swap partition to be no option here. -

Yes, just following normal linux procedures to allocate more swap space should work.
