@minedudeyt can you try host -t NS <domain> on your server? Does it work? You can also run the command on your PC/laptop.

If this is a new domain, some registrars take ~24 hours to get the domain up and running and have the NS propagated.

@girish On my server it says, "Host <domain> not found: 2(SERVFAIL)", but on my pc it lists both of my Cloudflare nameservers.

But, it is a new domain and has only been live for about 10-11 hours. Should I give it some more time?

@girish I just went to the domain and I see this message. Does that mean that I should give more time?Screen Shot 2021-09-16 at 6.17.19 AM.png

@minedudeyt Usually, ~12 hours should be enough of a wait. Is it working now?

@girish The server still says, "Host <domain> not found: 2(SERVFAIL" If it helps at all, the server is being hosted off of Linode.

@minedudeyt I see. The issue here is most likely domain related and not server related. Do you think you can send me your domain name to support@cloudron.io and I can try to check what might be going wrong.

This turned out to be a server networking issue. Using another server makes it all work.

Hi, I have the same issue here, in the domain setup page, it stuck with the message queryNs ESERVFAIL <domain>, and wouldn't process to the next step

I type in host -t NS <domain> in my server, the returned message is Host <domain> not found: 2(SERVFAIL)

My server is Vultr, and the domain is hosted in Vultr as well

How can I solve this ?
