    Hello,

I wanted to try migrating to Vultr from OVH, and deployed the Cloudron server using the image from the Vultr Marketplace. However my current version was 6.3.6 so I couldn't restore since the marketplace version was 6.3.5. This was something I should have caught earlier but missed.

I'd have assumed since 6.3.6 has been out for quite a while that the marketplace versions would be current.

This serves as a request to update to 6.3.6 in the various marketplace images such as Vultr and DigitalOcean which are currently sitting at 6.3.5.

In the future, is there perhaps a way for the image to use the latest version on update since it's mostly a script I assume that kicks off the install when deployed from an image? Or is there more to it than that?

@d19dotca just install it, and run the update. Or wait a day and it will auto update.

@robi How do you run an update once Cloudron's been installed? When I tried to use the backup, it told me to run cloudron-setup -version 6.3.6 but that can't be done when it's already installed, so it has to be done at install time itself.

@d19dotca you're right.. don't use the image, and just get a clean ubuntu VM and install the right version you need so the install time restore works as expected.

@robi Yeah that's what I'm already doing in the meantime, but still hoping the images get updated (or just set to always pull the latest Cloudron version on boot or something). Seems weird to be outdated. 🤷

Actually I think you are right, the marketplace images tend to get outdated over time a bit, especially those we don't control, I think it would help greatly to perform an update pre-setup. Essentially when the image comes up and the Cloudron has not yet been setup/restored it runs an update first, which should be quick anyways.

We just have to make sure that installing a specific version for restoring a specific version still works as expected.

I was waiting for a bit to see if we need a 6.3.7. But now that we don't need it, I will go ahead and update those marketplace images.

I have updated the vultr image. The DO image is also submitted for approval.
