    Hi, I have a 2 part question.

    1. I have bee using this tool to test how private the emails are coming from my cloudron. https://www.emailprivacytester.com/

All of my mail is currently on FastMail and I'm switching over to cloudron. However, when I used this test on FastMail, they have a way to hide your IP address. So even if you do view images in an email or there is a pixel tracker etc... they still don't know your IP address, a FastMail IP address is given instead.

When I use the same test on cloudron, using Sogo, as soon as you view an image in an email, it reveals your home ip address.

Are there any options for this concern or should I not be concerned about it?

    1. Is there a way to remove metadata and ip info from cloudron email headers?

    Thanks for the review!

@cloud802 You could use the vpn server app in cloudron then read the email over vpn? Otherwise, I don't think cloudron has an option to do "safe links" like fastmail does.

@cloud802 it's a matter of the client. Not the server.

For example if you install Thunderbird, you can disable all the images like you want.

        SoGo can, TB can.
Cloudron has nothing to do with it.

For email images I always use cloudinary.com. There are lots of other CDNs out there, but I've always had good results with this. Maybe replace the images with the same but hosted on Cloudinary.com.
