Two IP's on the same Cloudron/VPS?
-
I might have asked this before but can you have two IP's on the same Cloudron?
I want a certain app to use a secondary IP that I can get from my host while the rest uses the main IP. Or is it just easier to get a separate VPS for it?

As Cloudron upgrades to IPv6 support, it will bring in another interface that will have to be bound and managed with the default IPv4 interface and all the domain mappings.
That also brings in various configurations of multi-homing, and outbound traffic management (balancing, etc).
So while you can have two or more IPs (it already has many local ones) Cloudron doesn't expose them in the context you're asking.
Good for @staff to chime in.

@humptydumpty interesting use case, we don't have a mechanism yet to do app/IP segregation. For the moment, note that you can always change the DNS to whatever IP you want after you install the app. Of course, the other option is to simply setup another Cloudron on another VP.
