I seem to only be able to create md files, or edit existing md files. Nothing else.

The default Nextcloud install includes a odf file which I had created when I had the CODE app installed from within Nextcloud. I uninstalled the CODE app, installed the Cloudron OnlyOffice app (not the Enterprise), then installed the OnlyOffice Connector (I guess that worked?) but now I can only create or edit md files. When I try to edit that odf file it starts to download. What gives? Aren't I supposed to be able to create/edit OOXML, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, CSV, TXT files?? Did I miss something??

@scooke have you configured the onlyoffice connector plugin successfully in the Nextcloud settings?

My security key contains special characters... could this be messing something up?
Strange. I was thinking it'd be so straightforward.
I haven't entered anything in the Advanced settings, I just clicked it open.

wrote on Jan 13, 2022, 8:19 AM last edited by@girish Everything set up perfectly, the first time, immediately, in the demo cloudron.
I thought my secret was too long, so I shortened it (and restarted the OO app). Now, the additional file associations options are visible. I suspect my install is now working. I guess the secret was too long? It was initially 21 characters long with 2 punctuation characters. I removed the punctuation, and it still didn't respond (and restarted the app). This time, I just totally changed the secret to 15 characters, restarted the OO app, and now it seems to work.

That's totally an upstream bug..

Given I have a longer secret a typo is more likley.

@robi Nope, I use my cloudron-supplied Vaultwarden to generate the secret, then I copy and paste it. I save it in a Secure Note in Bitwarden. The copy-and-paste is why I feel sure it wasn't a typo. Whatever the problem, it resolved itself. I restarted the app after each change, but maybe I didn't wait long enough for the startup to finish.
