Sometimes I stop apps because I'm not really using them or to say resources.

Often they stay stopped for a long time.

But stopped app don't update. So when it comes to wanting to use them again there are often loads of updates to do before you get to the latest version.

At present I'm just patiently clicking Check for Updates...wait...Update Available...Update...wait...Check for Updates...wait...Update Available...Update and on and on, but it's getting a bit tiresome.

Am I being silly? Is there a way to automate this? (I guess if I were more patient I could just wait and they'd auto-update one new version per day until they would be on the latest version? Ah, or maybe I could just Configure Automatic Update Schedule in Settings -> Updates -> Change Schedule to check every hour and then it'd get up to speed faster )

There's a feature request somewhere on this.. to separate the update checks, making them way faster, or adding an update all button.

Yeah currently there is no other way than doing them one-by-one either manually or just wait for a couple of days for the autoupdater to have caught up with it.

Yeah, given it seems what I'm doing (or waiting) is currently the only way as @nebulon just confirmed I do think we need a Update to Latest Version button or something.

As a hack, change the update schedule for every hour 😄

Related note: would be nice if we could display "the app is xx updates behind". We don't have an appstore API for this though.
