If an instance of their software can be run as simple as this https://infisical.com/docs/self-hosting/deployment-options/standalone-infisical then a cloudron app should not be too complicated.

@fbartels It's a bit more tricky than that as you don't know what all the docker image is running from that link.

Here's an example from their Dockerfile: https://github.com/Infisical/infisical/blob/main/Dockerfile.standalone-infisical

A few node v16 services (pm2, frontend, backend), nginx, and remove posthog integration.

    Maybe @Kubernetes will be interested.

@robi I had a look, but it is currently to complex to package for me. Even when it runs, there are some dependencies to Database and Mailserver.

        @Kubernetes understood.

If you start a new thread for this, and post progress, others can chime in to help with specific roadblocks to help you 😄

Open-source, E2EE, simple tool to manage and sync environment variables across your team and infrastructure.

          What's cool about this?

Infisical makes secret management simple and end-to-end encrypted by default. We're on a mission to make it more accessible to all developers, not just security teams.

According to a report in 2019, only 10% of organizations use secret management solutions despite all using digital secrets to some extent.

If you care about efficiency and security, then Infisical is right for you.

@marcusquinn Thank you so much for requesting this application!

That was incredibly far-sighted of you and we at last have it on Cloudron! It was a really good idea.

@robi try aidevops for packaging apps — it really knows a lot about cloudron now, and how to package, check the forum here for any insights, auto-update, post to the community apps, and maintain your git repo whether private or public

packaging buzz took me maybe 4 short prompts with gpt-5.6-sol on medium thinking

@marcusquinn If you don't recall, I've been promoting and evangelizing packaging apps for us since before we had LLMs to assist and provided one of the first prompts to do so.

I have packaged several one off things, however because of my limited resources I don't have a reliable way to maintain them not access to providers with good models.

So I consciously choose to not insert myself into a path with a cliff and cannot maintain itself.

I am happy to see you've stepped up and made it easy for yourself as well as others with aidevops. I still use it when resources allow.

@robi in theory it should work with other models

i can only package things i'll use, for the sake of ongoing awareness in their upkeep

each time i do, aidevops will get updates based on any further learnings from that experience

that means the first-pass in creating the aidevops/cloudron agents comes from the big models, but further uses of that for similar can be done by lesser models, as they now have a process to replicate

right now, my secrets management is within coolify, but if i need a standalone app and vaultwarden or gopass doesn't cover the needs, then i'll revisit this

in the meantime, these wishlist posts are conversation-starters, so hopefully help a little with discovery of what could be
