I installled wordpress on Cloudron server but whenever I try to configure Wordfence security plugin, I get filesystem permission error. How do I fix this? -

@robi I've been using WF for a long time but it's damn sluggish. Is Cerber better than Wordfence?

@ugacomp That is because the regular WP app doesn't allow you to write in the root directory. If you want to use the WordFence firewall, you can opt for the developer version of the WordPress app

developer version of the WordPress app
Can confirm it works fine on the WordPress (Developer) app.
I install it on every site I use. And I never touch the silly WordPress (Managed) app because you inevitably hit something that won't work with that.
Personally I don't think the WordPress (Managed) app should exist, it just causes people problems and generates needless support requests.
