Hello, a client of mine is starting a second business using an all in one automation software for selling a product but they dont provide an email service.

I was hoping to use cloudron as the MX provider while the A records are pointed to this other server. Is this possible?

@privsec either use automated DNS setup and manage the exceptions or use a manual setup and manage DNS elsewhere.

Yes, this is supported. Just add the domain on Cloudron and enable Email on the domain. If you don't install any apps on the domain, no A records are touched .

So to be clear, I add the domain as a wildcard domain, then ignore it when it says to set up the a records.

Then under the mail set up, add the respective max records to the domain and then cloudron will then control the max records?

                Yup, exactly.
