@fbartels Couldn't find any real pricing there (but just read it quickly...). https://github.com/standardnotes/forum/issues/2427 suggests it's 39$/yr.

In the reddit thread mentioned above, I find it also interesting to consider the SN Dev answer (scroll way down..). In his/her/theirs answer is mentioned, amongst other things, the self hosting cost of 39$/year too.
Some interesting points made from "both sides" when taken objectively.

Edit: @girish beat me to it....

For what it’s worth, I’ve been happy with Joplin over the past year with plug-ins and a good theme. I’m sure other solutions are more polished, but at least you own your data, it’s open source, and Cloudron has the sync server in the app store. Hopefully those first two points remain true moving forward.

please guys @girish can you push it. I more than happy to pay incentive to developers to implement SN to app store. Free or Paid versions are both good. I use SN and I am superhappy about it is much much better than other applications

Standard Notes are so much better than Joplin 11.png Standard Notes on totally different level. is cleaner, more simpler, more functionalities! must implement to cloudron!

                        From the site:

To purchase an offline subscription for your self-hosted server:
                            Open standardnotes.com/purchase/offline
Complete the purchase process to receive an offline features code via email
Once you receive the code, open the Standard Notes web or desktop app, then open Preferences > General > Advanced Settings
Paste in the code in the Activate Offline Subscription section
Activate a server-side subscription on your self-hosted server
