Haraka Rate Limit editing on UI

So I got to know that there is a 60 mails / Min limit set by Haraka and you can't edit limit.ini file ( ssh to the server and you can find that file where you can change this rate limit before but after cloudron new update it's read only which is regret why I updated )

now there is no way to edit those rate limits, so how about giving the option to change those rate limits and concurrent request values through cloudron dashboard.

@darsh_parsana thanks for opening the request. The file is not readonly. The correct file is /run/haraka/config/limit.ini in the mail container. After editing, supervisorctl restart haraka

Sorry to revive that old thread, but I ran into the same issues and need to up that limit. Will those changes survive restarts and Cloudron updates?

They are not. Which value are you changing? I can probably change the defaults .

@girish thanks for the reply! That's the thing, I'm not a 100% sure yet. It's a custom app that sends out 100+ emails (and growing) every few weeks/months and it hit twice the Connection denied. recipient rate limit exceeded and once Connection denied. connection rate limit exceeded. It wasn't great, because it wasn't clear which mails went through and which didn't (other than manually combing through the logs).

My guess would have been [rate_conn] and [rate_rcpt_host] for starters, but the quick fix (other than building a queue/delay/throttle which adds a lot of complexity) was to use Postmark directly instead of Cloudrons mail-server, so for this specific project this is "solved", but would still be a nice to have feature to adjust the limits in the settings.
