RustFS is now available
-
We released the initial package for RustFS. RustFS is a high-performance, distributed object storage system built in Rustβone of the most loved programming languages worldwide. RustFS combines the simplicity of MinIO with the memory safety and raw performance of Rust. It offers full S3 compatibility, is completely open-source, and is optimized for data lakes, AI, and big data workloads.

Hi, Girish! Well done on this. If you don't mind, I would like to try a quick validation of the Wandering Monster packaging estimate here. RustFS has just been packaged, so what happened should be fresh in the mind. Here is the WM estimate. I wonder how closely it maps onto your own experience and whether any of its sections might have been of assistance prior to the attempt to start the packging:
Wandering Monster Packaging assessment: Verdict: Easy mechanically, but read the warnings β and decide whether the use case actually fits Cloudron at all.
