@jjhill Ah sorry, I missed it in my dark mode view.

I don't see any errors or failures in the log.

Hi I've read through similar posts and have tried several solutions to no avail. I tried fresh installs of 20.04.1 and 20.04.3, but I get the same result regardless. I also made sure to port forward 443 and 80 prior to the Cloudron install. Here is my log.

@jjhill can you double check if this is the full log? Does it just stop at the curl command to download nginx? Also can you just re-run this and see if this was just a temporary issue with the nginx package server?

Can you check if curl -sL http://nginx.org/packages/ubuntu/pool/nginx/n/nginx/nginx_1.18.0-2~focal_amd64.deb -o /tmp/nginx.deb works on the server manually ? That should download a file in /tmp/nginx.deb (maybe just check it's size). It's around 834K

Also, you can use https://paste.cloudron.io in the future for logs.

@nebulon Yupp this is the full log. I've checked it a few times after failures and it always ends there. I just ran another install and it stopped at the same spot.

@girish Thank you for the pasting link, I will use that in the future. Also I ran that command manually and it downloaded the file correctly. I then tried installing again and it failed in the same spot with the same log.

@jjhill hm since the file otherwise downloads just fine, it looks like there is some other hidden issue. If you want we can take a direct look at this instance so we can debug and fix our installer directly there. If so, please add our support SSH key at https://docs.cloudron.io/support/#ssh-keys and send us a mail with the IP to support@cloudron.io

@nebulon I just submitted a ticket with the support email. I believe I added the ssh key correctly and they also have the IP.

The issue was ipv6 being blocked by a router setting. Thanks Johannas for identifying the issue and leading me in the right direction for a fix!
