Cloudron very nicely makes backups for us. Sometimes we would like to free some storage by deleting unneccessary backups. It would be sweet if we could click a button and delete the unwanted backups individually.

Individual deletion would be nice. In the meantime I temporary change the retention policy, press the "cleanup backups" button and change it back to normal.

The reason to not add this was simply security. Didn't want a way for intruder to delete apps and backups if an admin left dashboard was logged in.

@girish you could implement it so that you can delete all backups except for the most recent one ^^

PS: If you leave your Machine unlocked as an admin, you are doomed anyways. Windows Key / Super Key + L for Windows or Linux, Command + Control + Q for macOS.

            Can get behind that.

In the initial days, the issue was that the storage tokens can be created without delete permission. But we lifted this requirement already when we added retention policy which auto-deletes the backups.

@girish Or add a requirement to enter your password for such deletion?

I think that's how I'd do it, like Nextcloud does with app updates etc.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner
