I just installed, enabled and tested Nextcloud Talk.
Seems to work fine for logged in Cloudron users, but not for guests.
I've not got my head around all the TURN/ COTURN stuff - but is that basically what I need to sort out in order to allows guests (i.e. people who don't already have accounts on my Cloudron Nextcloud) to be able to join calls?
If so, I guess I should try following the instructions shared by @iqweb here:
-
@jdaviescoates Can we even install TURN/STUN servers for this with the filesystem being read-only??
-
I suppose @jdaviescoates needs to fork the app to get those extra packages inside.

@girish said in Allowing guests to join Nextcloud Talk video calls:
@jdaviescoates The plan is to add coturn to cloudron platform itself (next release)
Excellent, looking forward to it!

I just tested this with the new updated Nextcloud talk in Cloudron 5.1 and it worked great (I started a call on my laptop on wifi and then joined as a non-logged in guest on my mobile over 4g)

@jdaviescoates Wonderful news! Thanks for testing it out.

Just tested again with 3 other people (so four total) and again it worked great, aside from the fact one person couldn't see or hear one other person (odd).
